ADHD

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we accept many insurance plans including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Carelon, Cigna, Oscar (Optum), Oxford (Optum), Quest Behavioral Health, and United Healthcare (Optum). Unfortunately, we are not credentialed with MassHealth or Medicaid/Medicare at this time.

Do you accept patients from other states in New England?

Currently, we are only accepting patients from Massachusetts, but we will become accredited with the State of Connecticut in late 2025.

Do you offer in-person appointments?

Yes, but we primarily provide telehealth services at the moment. We will however, begin offering in-person visits in mid 2025. Our office will be located on Park Street in West Springfield.

Do you accept cash payments or offer out-of-network support?

Yes, we accept cash payments and can provide a superbill along with all necessary documentation for out-of-network claims, Flex Spending Accounts (FSA), or Health Savings Accounts (HSA).  For your safety and to meet our legal obligation, all new clients will be screened by Massachusetts Prescription Awareness Tool (MassPAT) which is part of the Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) in Massachusetts.

Do you offer Therapy only?  What type of psychiatric care do you provide?

We offer comprehensive psychiatric mental health care, which includes medication management with associated therapy. At this time, we do not offer therapy as a standalone service.

Why do you require blood tests and drug screenings for Controlled Substances?

We are required by law to a blood test and drug screening for clients needing a controlled substance upon admission as a client. We also verify information through the MassPAT prescription monitoring database. If we become your medication provider, you are welcome to keep your current therapist; however, we cannot legally serve as a second prescriber for your medications.
